Effective cooperation = short time in the dock

R7K VEA of Rogaland is a 1475 BRT trawler that arrived at North Sea Yard in early January for a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks.

The lifeboat crane needed to be replaced and the insulation on the exhaust of three generators required renovation, in addition to a number of minor tasks. The main task was expanding the ship’s vacuum system with new compressors and piping systems. Testing was conducted in late January and everything worked as planned.

While docked, work on the ship was performed 12 hours a day, seven days a week in a close collaboration between Hanstholm Skibssmedie, Hanstholm Elektronik and Hanstholm Smedie- og Maskinfabrik – a worthwhile effort, given the excellent results and satisfied customer.
